The South West Science and Industry Council exists to promote greater understanding of science and technology to business, and to raise awareness of the opportunities presented by science for the overall economic advantage of individual businesses and of the region. Our definition of science does not just apply to biological or chemical sciences but is also relevant to natural sciences, technology and humanities. Please visit www.sciencesouthwest.org.uk to find out more.

The newsletter is an important tool in helping the Council achieve its objectives. It offers a monthly update on work, opportunities and events across the South West to encourage companies to take on new ideas and incorporate new technologies, design and best practice in order to compete effectively in the global environment.

If you have any comments, or would like to receive a copy of the newsletter every month by email, please do get in touch with us at newsletter@sciencesouthwest.org.uk

Archived editions can be found in the Publications Section of the Science South West website.
