Torbay Innovation Centres

Torbay Innovation Centres have one site at South Devon College in Paignton and a second centre is due to open in 2008, at Lymington Road in Torquay. These start-up facilities are unique in Torbay.

They offer desk units and offices, easy-in/easy-out licence with business support and services to enhance the chances of success for new businesses. With high expected demand for the available workspace, space will be offered to companies with the commitment to grow and the ability to develop profitably, and ultimately, the likelihood that they will provide employment opportunities in Torbay.

The Torbay Innovation Centre was an investment by the South West of England Regional Development Agency, and match-funded by the Government Office South West through the European Objective 2 scheme.
