Duncan Hames

Duncan Hames was an elected member of West Wiltshire District Council until May 2007. During his time as a councillor, he chaired the External Overview, Northern Area, and Audit committees, represented the council on the West Wiltshire Local Strategic Partnership, and held the Community and Policy Co-ordination portfolios on the council's executive Cabinet. He spent six years as a management consultant with Deloitte, based in Bath, working amongst others with Vodafone, the Ministry of Defence, Transport for London, and DEFRA. He is now owner and director of Chippenham Consultants Limited. Duncan is a member of the RDA's audit committee, and represents the RDA on the board of Culture South West. He is also a secondary school governor.
